Get in touch- Stop all contact with the sender, do not share any more information or make further payments, and report it below right away. The sooner we know, the sooner we can act.
- Most reports are triaged within 24 hours. Complex cases involving external banks or mobile money providers can take longer — we'll keep you updated by email throughout.
- It depends on the case — how quickly it's reported and where the funds moved to. We work with our banking and mobile money partners to try to recover funds, but we can't guarantee a refund in every case.
- Log in to the Wiremit app directly rather than clicking links in a message, and check that any email comes from a wiremit.money address. If you're ever unsure, contact us using the details on our Support page instead of replying.
- Email info@wiremit.money, call our UK line, or reach us on WhatsApp in Zimbabwe — details are on our Support page.
